On Saturday, September 18th, Mahmoud Ahmed returns to New York where he will be performing at SOBs. This is Mahmoud’s first concert since his Lincoln Center performance.
Event Promoter Mengistu Meles of Massinko Entertainment states this event is to celebrate Ethiopian New Year and Meskel.
Mahmoud, who was born in Addis Ababa, is one of the most beloved singers of Ethiopia’s ‘golden era’. In 2007 he won a BBC World Music Award.
